Week Seven... What are we, Eleven?

So... This week was basicly a gong show. This was the week of "Reading Break". I started off my week in a typical "Bria" sort of way. Yep, with a random, not very well planned, adventure! Yay! I made arrangements with Kristie and Ben to get me to and from Victoria. That was basically the extent of my planning. So off we went. Ben and I drove down to Victoria after dinner, and as per usual, I tortured him with my music the whole way down. We met up with Trevor in down town Victoria to walk around and give some snacks to the homeless people that we met down there. It was a pretty good night, even though only one of Ben's youth boys showed up. We ended up buying Macas for a couple of the people. A few of them even shared a bit about their lives with us. It was good. Then I headed back to Ben's house. We hung out and watched the new seasons of the Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. I, of course, fell asleep on the floor during one of the episodes. I got to sleep in untill eleven am. It was wonderful. Especially since the other students that were coming down that day had to leave camp early in the morning. So Ben and I got up and got ready for the day. He had an interview that day, so he had to dress up pretty spiffy. We drove down town again and tried to find the other students. That was an adventure and a half. It took us forever, and a whole lot of wandering around before I found them in the back part of some sea plane building in the "flying otter grill". Yeah, who would have thought eh? So i got to go to the mall with Ellie and Matt for a few hours and I found one of my friends from Kelowna working in the Victoria Sport Chek. That was exciting! Oh how I miss Kelowna. We ended up back at the van eventually and I got to try long boarding. It was so much fun, and I even kind of got the hang of it. It was pretty exciting. We stopped at a waterfall on the way home from Victoria. Those of you who know me well can probably imagine how exciting this was. I just wished that I had my camera with me. I miss having my camera. Wednesday was spent mostly sleeping. I didn't really leave my room at all that day. So it was pretty relaxed. Thursday I walked into Crofton with my roomies and then went to the gym with Kaity for a while. It was good to get out and do something for once. Friday was the start of Junior High Retreat. I had a cabin of seven rediculous wonders. Oh boy were they ever a hand full. I had the group of preppy, popular, "stylish" girls. One of my girls straightened her hair six times in one day. The rain kept wrecking it, and well, we all know how many cute boys you meet at camp... haha. They were twelve and thirteen and kept asking me if the male leaders were single. Oh pre-teen girls. How I remember the days. Three of my campers started to get quite sick on the second day. So, to the nurse they went. On the second morning all three of them were sent home. Due to ride complications their two friends had to go home with them. Lunch was quite an interesting one then, I was left with me and my two campers. Both, happened to be named Sarah. It was a good weekend over all though. We played alot of fun games and got to go swimming at the Duncan pool. Oh, and I injured my right leg muscle. So unfortunate. Sunday night however, did end on a good note. Ben got a job! He is now a Future Shop employee. YAY! Oh, but I forgot to tell you that on Friday night I dropped my phone in the toilet. It's dead. I will be taking donations. Love and hugs.
